Wednesday-Sunday 12pm-5pm

Closed Monday & Tuesday
Closed Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day

Due to occasional private events the Scarab Club Main Gallery will be closed October 17th Noon-4pm;

Visitors should call ahead to verify program and exhibition schedules.

Founded in 1907, the Scarab Club is housed in its historic 1928 Arts and Crafts building, designed by Lancelot Sukert located behind the Detroit Institute of Arts, in the heart of the Cultural Center.  Now over a century old, the Scarab Club maintains a strong dedicated membership of artists, educators, students and patrons who are committed to uphold its mission to stimulate the stimulate the artistic sense of the people of the greater Detroit area toward practical expression, to advance the knowledge and appreciation of creative artistic activity and assist other cultural institutions in the promotion of the arts.
