Please note:

• No passes accepted during our Oakwood Classic Car Show, usually the last Saturday in July.
• Closed on Monday & Tuesday year round.

Hours: Wednesday-Sunday, 9am-5pm year round.  No passes accepted on day of Oakwood Classic Car Show, usually the last Saturday in July.  Closed for some holidays and special events (call to confirm).

 

We offer a free school field trip program to area schools. It is a two hour guided field trip with age appropriate activities for grades 2nd through 12th.  This program is developed and guided by a certified teacher with classroom experience.

We periodically have special programs such as our Car Design Workshop with the College for Creative Studies. It is a three hour workshop where a CCS staff member takes students through the design process and gives advice for creating your very own spectacular designs. This program usually runs two to three times a year so check our website or call us at (313) 240-4000 for a class schedule.

Automotive Hall of Fame Classic car show is held the last weekend of July with a unique theme every year. Check out our website for the current show’s theme.

 

Resources

Our library isn’t generally open to the public but we have a wide range of books and video available for purchase in our gift shop.
