GUIDED TOURS OF THE POWERHOUSE & RESIDENCE
January - March
Monday - Closed for restoration projects.
Tuesday - Sunday: Tours are offered at 1:30 p.m. only.
April - December
Monday - Closed for restoration projects.
Tuesday - Sunday: Tours begin at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.
The Henry Ford Estate is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
Note:
Beginning in April, the Henry Ford Estate (http://www.henryfordestate.org/publictours.htm) will expand the number of tours they offer. Please see their website for more details.
SELF-GUIDED TOUR OF THE GROUNDS
Open Tues - Sat, Mid May through Labor Day from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE:
Due to the unique nature of the Fair Lane Estate (A national historic landmark), every effort is made to preserve the Estate's buildings in their original condition. Therefore, the Henry Ford Estate is neither fully air-conditioned nor handicap accessible.
Also, Tours of the Henry Ford Estate are limited. Some tours fill up fast! MAP visitors are advised to arrive early!
Bibliography of books that visitors might find of interest before or after their visit to Fair Lane. These titles are readily available in public libraries in our area and elsewhere.
